Join me for this transformational 4-part virtual workshop as we explore the foundations of mindfulness and gain the tools to establish your own effective and efficient practice. We have to invest in ourselves and access healing from within if we are going to thrive during these uncertain times. We’ll dive into evidence based methods alongside the elements of hip hop so you can manage stress, settle the mind, and enhance overall mental and emotional well-being. This workshop includes guided meditations, movement, and short mindfulness lessons, and a community of brothers to support your journey. Facilitated by a former school leader and creator of Moment of Mindfulness, you’ll walk away with a proven blueprint to access mental and emotional well-being to improve your life.

Please wear comfortable clothes and have access to headphones and a journal.

Our data backed and differentiated-learning supportive conversation includes interactive discussions that give attendees the opportunity to experience all levels of culturally responsive mindfulness in the learning community. We’ll delve into mindfulness tools and strategies from the perspective of a scholar, educator, principal, and superintendent uncovering the foundation that brings mindfulness to the forefront of supporting academic and social-emotional development. This session will leave you with the knowledge and understanding to become a mindfulness champion in your school community. You’ll experience the energy, style, and creativity that’s made mindfulness actually cool to do in schools of color.

Mindfulness for Men @ Heal Haus

“Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little”

Join me at Heal Haus for our 4th Moment of Mindfulness for Men Workshop. This workshop will dive into the principles of “loving kindness” and provide a foundation for our thoughts and energy to increase positive emotions, quiet your inner chatter, and strengthen your capacity of empathy and compassion.

We’ll use music, movement, and discussion to bring life to the mindfulness practice and create a space from men to heal and learn the science behind the tools that support our overall health. We as men carry a lot on our shoulders and even more in our heads. Take action and come learn how activate your natural ability to love and heal.

All levels are welcomed in this workshop and no prior workshop attendance is required as we provide a space for men start or deepen their practice while giving new energy to ancient tools.
